Waking up to music.

Today, again, I was woken up by the girl next door who plays guitar. Now, last year I also go woken up by music, but what differs in this year to last year is the fact that this girl wakes me up at 12:30. I really don't mind getting woken up at this time. Actually, I kind of like it.

I woke up today listening to music, and it bought on all kinds of nostalgic feelings in me. Like when I had a clock radio (that fell on my head once -_-) and I always got woken up by music. It always seemed to be America by Razorlight (so we can see how far back I'm going here) and it was always in winter. Now, America by Razorlight makes me feel weird, as do I Miss You by Blink 182, and Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. It reminds me of winter time in 2007/08, when I always used to listen to those songs. When times were that much simpler. I miss those times.

It also reminds me of when I used to stay up really late to watch Cowboy Bebop, and the empty feeling I got when it wasn't on TV anymore. Sure, I could watch it online, but that wasn't the point. I guess that that's why, in some ways, I really don't like change. I miss my little routines and obsessions. I'm going to miss watching One Piece everyday now that I'm all caught up with it. I'll miss Luffy. I don't care if it's weird, but I'll feel empty without it. I miss the simplicity of going to Birmingham with my friends in the icy cold, and being satisfied with £2 in my pocket. I miss staying there from 11am to 9pm without getting bored and pissed off with the number of people. I've changed. We've changed. Everyone's changed. Changed so much that if I saw them in Birmingham, in the winter, I couldn't even say hello to them without feeling like I'm being weird.

It's sad that.

I really need to start my essay but I just can't be fucked.

Haven't much to say today. Nothing much is going on. All I plan to do today is eat McDonald's and watch Death Note (for the 72828376172th time cause it never gets old) and One Piece. Lazy Saturday.

I remember when I used to go to the gym everyday....yeah....no.

Crazy hat people

Good God it's freezing today.

So I've realised recently that there are a hell of a lot of crazy hat people in Aberystwyth. What I mean by this is crazy people who wear crazy hats. I first noticed this phenomenon when my friend Cadi told me about this girl in her lecture who always wore the same crazy hat and long gothic leather coat. This girl walks her boyfriend around on a leash. Now, what you do with your boyfriend/girlfriend is up to you, but walking your boyfriend? Really? I'm sorry but I have to say what I feel...how is this girl not single when I am?

Anyway, since hearing about this girl I have noticed so many crazy hat people. People who dress against the norm and wear crazy hats. I really have no problem with dressing how you want and I don't judge...I'm just wondering why there're so many?!? Two of them are English students and one is in my seminar. This guy really explicitly talks about sex in his stories. Okay, that's fine...but it freaks everyone else out. In my opinion that's something you write about if you weren't going to share it.

Meh. I guess it's quite whimsical. I drew vampire hunter D earlier. He has a very crazy hat. Haha.

Watching One Piece and eating wafers.

I'm eating these Pink Panther wafers which, from what I remember, taste really nice. However, these taste funny, like some kind of savoury snack. They should be sweet -_-. It's not that they're not nice. After all, I have eaten about 700 calories worth of them (I regret nothing). Meh, maybe it's just me.

It annoys me how I can't draw at all from the top of my head. I have to be looking at something and copying it. Otherwise everything just goes wrong :') Oh well, I'm proud of this:

1: The weather can suck it.

So hey,

This is my first post and I'm afraid it is going to be about the weather. First off, I dislike having to get up earlier than 1pm at the best of times, so when it's for a lecture it makes me want to vomit. Having gotten soaked on the way up to Uni which seemed to be one million miles away from when I live today, I proceeded to sit through a lecture on Post-Structuralism for an hour. I made three sentences worth of  notes on this absolutely boring and diabolically pointless theory. It makes no sense at all in my mind. Surely, for those of you who actually know what I'm talking about, every noun in the whole world is what structuralists call a 'sign'. It's ridiculous and I will never understand it. The only thing I got out of todays lecture was a manga/anime drawing of myself looking pissed off and surrounded by fire. Grrr.

After getting splashed by about three cars on the way home, as well as getting drenched by the heavy downfall, all I wanted to do was watch One Piece and draw some pictures. Seriously considering not going up to my second seminar, but it's on Queer Theory which will help me write my essay because I can relate it to feminism. If my coats not dry then I'm not going to bother. See how I'm trying to justify missing my seminar by writing it on here?

I still can't understand why they can't invent wind proof umbrellas though? Seriously, it's 2012!! Or maybe an App that can keep you dry. It's not fair for them to make us go to lectures up a giant hill in the rain and then make us sit in our sopping wet clothes for an hour. That's why we cannot eradicate the common cold people!

Urgh. I'm going to draw some pictures because I'm stressed out. Haha. Last night I was up until after 4am drawing Light and Ryuk from Death Note, and Princess Momonoke. Quite proud by the end result, but I was covered in smudged pencil lead.

Next I might draw D (Vampire Hunter D) or Misa (Death Note). I dunno.
